The National Information Technology Development Agency (NITDA) is currently offering the Blockchain Scholarship Scheme for 2024, and the application portal is open for all eligible candidates.

About the NITDA Blockchain Scholarship
NITDA, in collaboration with Domineum Blockchain Solutions, is introducing the NITDA Blockchain Scholarship 2024 Scheme, to train 30,000 Nigerians in blockchain technology for career advancement.
During the “Digital Nigeria” event’s Blockchain Day, Kashifu Inuwa CCIE, the Director General/CEO of NITDA, announced a scholarship program aimed at accelerating blockchain adoption in Nigeria.
The initiative aims to position Nigeria as a global player in the blockchain industry by encouraging Nigerians to become early adopters and solution providers.
Domineum Blockchain Solutions is teaming up with BSV Blockchain Academy to execute the scheme, focusing on delivering quality education and skills for practical blockchain solutions.
Mohammed Jega, the co-founder, underscores the significance of blockchain in empowering next-generation data, while Course Coordinator Calistus Igwilo highlights the courses’ emphasis on shaping the future of the blockchain industry.
Requirements for the 2024 NITDA Blockchain Scholarship Program
The eligibility requirements for the 2024 NITDA Blockchain Scholarship Program are straightforward. Candidates interested in applying for the program must meet the following criteria:
- Citizenship: Applicants must be Nigerian citizens.
- Residence: Candidates must currently reside in any state within Nigeria.
- Time Commitment: The program requires a minimum commitment of 20 hours. Applicants should be prepared to dedicate this amount of time to the program.
