Julius Berger scholarship Requirements:

Applicants for the Julius Berger scholarship program must:

  • Be a citizen of Nigeria
  • Be female
  • Be enrolled in a Federal or State Owned University in Nigeria
  • Belong to the Faculty of Engineering/Environmental/Technology
  • Currently be in their second year of full-time study in a Nigerian Federal or State University accredited by the National Universities Commission (NUC)
  • Possess a minimum CGPA of 3.5 in a 5-grade system

The Julius Berger scholarships are renewable throughout the duration of the recipient’s undergraduate studies. Recipients are expected to maintain high academic and ethical standards, adhering to other conditions outlined in the scholarship award letter.

How to Apply:

  1. Ensure you have a valid personal email account and phone number.
  2. Submit online applications at JBN Scholarship Portal.
  3. Include personal and educational details in the application.
  4. Upload scanned copies of the following:
    • Recent passport-sized photograph (JPEG format, not exceeding 200 kilobytes)
    • University or JAMB Admission Letter
    • Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examinations (UTME) Result
    • O’ Level Result(s)
    • ‘A’ Level /OND /NCE Result(s) as applicable
    • Academic results for 100-level

Application Process

  1. Register and learn more about the National Identity Number at http://ninenrol.gov.ng.
  2. Click “Create Account” and fill in the required fields.
  3. Login with Email and Password to complete the form.
  4. After completion, schedule a date for photo and fingerprint capture.
  5. Visit any of the 37 capture centers www.nimc.gov.ng/pages/general/enrolmentcentres.htm to complete the registration process and obtain your National Identity Number.
  6. Complete your total registration at the NIMC office.

Note: Multiple applications lead to disqualification. Only shortlisted candidates will be invited for the proctored computer-based test.

  • Application for the JBN scholarship is free.
  • SCHOLASTICA is the official platform for the JBN Scholarship.
  • Beware of fraudulent websites during the application process, and avoid making payments.
  • E-mail applications are not accepted.
  • JBN does not assign representatives/agents to assist applicants in the application process.
  • Candidates presenting false documents will be disqualified at any stage of the scholarship process. Only shortlisted candidates will proceed to the proctored computer-based test.
